Clean Eating-Out Idea With Small Children!

Eating out with small children isn't always the cleanest— their little hands get everywhere and public tables are exactly the cleanest. One solution is to get those one-time-use disposable placemats but I find those to be terribly expensive, so here's my eco- and wallet-friendly solution.

If you have other ideas or parent tips, please share them in the comments section, we'd love to hear!

How To Teach Baby To Brush Teeth

I've been practicing good oral hygiene with baby ever since she was around one month old. I noticed her tongue was covered in white and feared it was thrush. Thankfully it wasn't. It was just milk stain, so I started to use a sterilized cloth to wipe her gums and tongue twice a day on a daily basis.

Shortly after baby popped her first teeth, I started to use a baby toothbrush. Not just to give her practice but to prevent my finger from being bitten off :>

She's taken well to this practice ever since. She knows what 'good oral hygiene' (literally) and 'brush teeth' now means.

Disclaimer (personal opinion): I, personally, recommend starting good oral hygiene with your baby as early as possible-- gentle and non-invasive.

Thank you so much for watching!

Swimming With Baby

It's never too early to bring your baby swimming. Well, sort of...

Swimming is almost (if not) the 'perfect' exercise for a pregnant women— it's a non-impact form of cardio that can help reduce swelling and the risks of pre-eclampsia (pregnancy-induced hypertension, aka. high blood pressure) and gestational diabetes, as well as allow a mother-to-be to comfortably 'lie' on her stomach. (Remember to always ask your doctor if it's safe for you first!)

I swam throughout my second and first portion of my third trimester, so Baby is no stranger to the pool. Outside the womb, I first brought my daughter swimming when she was nine months old— at an age where she could sit up by herself, started crawling, and was walking quite well while holding her two hands.

Try signing up for Parent & Child classes at a local community center. It's a great way to introduce them to water beyond their baths, socialize with other parents and children, and encourage a healthybutjuicy lifestyle early on.

Here's a sneak peak on some pre-class activity I do with my daughter.

Happy Healthy Juicy Swimming with Baby!

5 Minute Makeup Challenge! TAG - Momma Edition

As a mom to an almost 10 month old, I find I don't have a lot of time, especially for things like doing my makeup. I think this is a great tag video— highly relevant for us girls who have only minutes to spare (if that), especially us mommas out there.

Hope you enjoy and can get something out of this! :>
